A brotherhood meal and a series of events are held, such as the election of the "Guapas de Bilibio" (beautiful women of Bilibio), as well as other competitions. At mid-afternoon we return to the Plaza de la Paz and then go to the Basilica of the patron saint to celebrate mass in her honour.

Virgin of la Vega's day

On 8 September, the Festivitie of Our Lady of the Vega, the patron saint of Haro, is celebrated. In the morning, in the Vega Gardens there is a competition of verses and compliments to the Virgin, an offering of flowers and the first must, and the blessing of the ears of corn.

Rosary of Los Faroles

At nightfall there is a procession where the image of the Virgin is carried through the streets of the city, the Rosary of los Faroles, declared of Regional Tourist Interest.

Jira campestre

The festivities come to an end with the traditional Jira campestre in the park of Fuente el Moro where the Jarreros and visitors meet from midday to five in the afternoon.
It is then that the peñas lead those gathered there to a parade with torches to the Plaza Monseñor Florentino Rodríguez, where the festivities end with fire bulls, the burial of the Cuba and fireworks.
