Baroque 18th century rectangular building constructed in ashlar masonry stone, of striking by way of its size (almost 2000 metres) and its construction at different heights, as it has 2 floors facing La Vega street and 3 towards San Roque street.
It is also known as the Stork Palace because the lantern of its vault is home to a large nest of these birds, so common in our region. Its great inner stone staircase and semicircular cupola are also worthy of mention.
In the palace’s outer enclosure we find a sandstone pillory unique in Haro, originally used to administer justice. There is a medieval wine cellar on the ground floor. It was rehabilitated in 1975.
