On the night of 23 June, the festivities begin with the night of San Juan, where the "San Juan" bonfires and the "Amanecer del Chocolate" (Chocolate Dawn) are celebrated first thing in the morning.
At twelve noon in the Plaza de la Paz the chupinazo is launched from the balconies of the Town Hall after which the town crier begins his parade on horseback announcing the proclamation of the festivities.

Patron's day, Saint Felices of Bilibio - 25 of June

The 25th of June is the day of the Patron Saint, Saint Felices de Bilibio, an anchorite saint who was the teacher of San Millán, and a procession is held in his honour.
The Brotherhood of San Felices, founded in 1655, is responsible for taking out the caskets containing the relics of this saint and San Millán in the procession.

On 29 June, the Feast of St. Peter, the popular Wine Battle is held on the Riscos de Bilibio, declared to be of National Tourist Interest, after centuries of pilgrimage in honour of the place of prayer of the city's patron saint, St. Felices de Bilibio. In this battle, the participants throw wine at each other relentlessly, all the weapons being valid for this bloodless battle. Boots and even sulphate machines are used to throw thousands of litres of wine that transform the Riscos into an impressive spectacle.
